i'm honest to a fault. i speak freely what's on my mind--not meaning to hurt, but sometimes doing so in my effort to be forthright. i'm unpretentious. i see awkward humor in almost every situation, especially in the worst of them, just to keep matters in perspective. some see that as sarcasm, call it what you will. i'm told that i'm very grounded with both feet heading in the right direction. i'm nobody's fool. my paying job in the creative industry allows me to fully appreciate life's cultural aspects so i can't get enough of art, museums and have a p^#%ion for most every kind of music. my non-paying job as a volunteer firefighter has allowed me to see a side of life few are able to. so i also value the smallest of things in life and deeply appreciate how fragile it is. i love doing things outdoors (BIKES!) and get out often. i stay physically active which keeps my body in shape as well as my home--i'm no couch potato! and, i don't watch TV--so sorry, i can't talk about reality television.

you know how to communicate--you know how and when to express yourself in any situation with grace. you care about how you look and feel because you're attractive and healthy--but that doesn't mean you're obsessed. lounging in PJ's all day long without a hairbrush is totally cool--but going without a toothbrush is not. like me, you have a deep appreciation for art, music and culture and enjoy a day at a museum looking at stuff together or wandering off slightly apart--because, like me, you're also independent (but it's totally cool to share what you discovered and i hope you would!). you'll receive flowers from me from time to time (for no particular reason), or find a carefully placed haiku in your lunchbag, just because...and, you show me that you care, too.
