Here's a bit about me and what I'm looking for…
I’m 30, Indian, male. I grew up in India, but went to boarding school and the university in the U.S. and worked there for some years – as a management consultant, in Boston. I’ve only recently moved to London, having finished an MBA and a Masters in International Relations. I currently work in finance, at an investment bank.
I’m of a regular build and fitness. I enjoy the outdoors, and like to keep active. I enjoy good food and like to stay healthy. I'm a happy, positive and easy going guy, confident, but not arrogant, I like to think. I keep myself open to new experiences, meeting new people, seeing new places. My tastes are quite broad and eclectic, when it comes to music, movies, interests, and people. At the same time, I do have certain perennial favorites and I like to keep in active touch with my close friends, wherever they are or I am.
I like having a varied social life. Over the weekends, I equally enjoy a good night out as a quiet night in – I’m as comfortable grabbing a pint at the pub, catching a live music act or a DJ set in a fun club, as I am settling down to a game of Taboo or a cook-in at home with friends.
I’ve live and studied and worked internationally - recently, in the U.S., Italy, the Philippines and the U.K. When I get the time, I really enjoy traveling – not just for the sake of it – but with a purpose, to visit people I know, to learn more about something I’ve always been interested in. In the last four years, I’ve been to Colombia, Ecuador, New Zealand, Antigua, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

What am I looking for? I'm not looking to start a serious relationship just yet - I don’t feel the need to be in a relationship just for the sake of it. And I’m not interested in casual encounters either. But I am looking to meet people with similar interests and who may share the same outlook as I do and if it leads to something deeper, that would obviously be terrific. Being relatively new to London and quite absorbed by my job, I’m curious to explore different ways of meeting people and so giving this a shot. I’m definitely stepping outside my comfort zone with this, but let’s see how it goes!
