Personal Description

Well, my name is Scott; I'm a photographer living in Austin, Texas. I've only been in Austin about 7 years now, having moved out here after I got out of the Navy. I was in the Navy for 5 years as a photographer, and got to do a lot of traveling all over Asia and the South Pacific. Before that I lived in St. Louis, Missouri (born there).
As for my personality, I'm the quiet type; very laid back and can seem a bit shy at times. The truth is that I don't see the point in talking just to be talking. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy listening to other people talk (I'm a very good listener, and can usually offer good advice when asked).
In my spare time I like to go hiking, biking, and camping. I also enjoy cooking, Photography (obviously), movies, reading, writing (though I haven't done much of that lately), and fooling around on the computer (like a lot of people now days). I'm definitely not your average guy...I like to watch Trading Spaces (and the British version Changing Rooms) as well as Junk Yard Wars. I'll watch cooking shows on PBS then switch over to Motor Week to check out the new cars coming out in the near future...
